The Accounting Technician 4 is a key role that will work independently and as part of a team to provide essential financial services for all areas covered by the Accounting Services team, while specializing in childcare and grant payments. Ideal candidates for this position will bring strong organizational and time management skills, in addition to experience in financial transactions processing and related computer programs such as wvOASIS and PATH.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, the Accounting Technician 4 will be responsible for: Processing, auditing, and monitoring grant invoice payments, childcare payments, indigent burials, and employee travel reimbursements. Entering and tracking financial transactions utilizing assigned financial computer and reporting systems, including WV PATH, wvOASIS, and Business Intelligence. Compiling all required reports and completing assigned tasks in a timely fashion to ensure accuracy and completion. Collaborating with both internal and external agencies as needed, including other BFA financial staff. Other duties as assigned. 1 VacancyClick The APPLY Link To Apply OnlineMinimum QualificationsTraining: Graduation from a standard four-year high school or the equivalent.Experience: Four years of full time or equivalent part time paid bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience.Substitution: Successful completion of college-level accounting courses from an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of three semester hours equals six months experience;ORSuccessful completion of related business school or vocational training may be substituted for the experience through an established formula.
