The primary manufacturing processes are injection molding and thermoforming. PMT has ~100 injection molding presses at its two primary manufacturing locations in El Paso, TX and Centennial, CO (a suburb of Denver).\n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package\nOpportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment\nGrowth potential within the company\n\n What you’ll do:\n\nManage molds and tooling for injection molding and thermoforming manufacturing process.\nDesign and develop molding components to assist with maintaining or enhancing performance of tooling.\nOrganize and maintain tool storage activities and tool movement processes.\nDevelop and monitor tooling maintenance protocols and schedules.\nMonitor and maintain tool conditions and assist with tool maintenance as needed.\nEvaluate repair needs and conduct repair analyses with accompanying repair plans.\nCommunicate with vendors as needed to facilitate proper tool care.\nParticipate in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and evaluation of Mold Flow Analysis (MFA) for new construction of tools.\nOversight and maintenance of molds and tools utilizing Asset Management in the ERP system.\nAssist with the quoting of new tooling for customers.\nAssist with the movement and setting of molds in presses, as needed.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n\nTechnical degree (Plastics Engineering) or Equivalent Experience\n0-4 years of experience in an Engineering role supporting injection molding (tooling, quality, design, manufacturing, etc.)\nForklift certified a plus\nGood written and verbal communication skills\nGood understanding of GD&T\nComputer literate including software programs\nGood understanding of Solidworks, CREO, or other parametric modeling software\nExperience with DelmiaWorks IQMS\nAnalytical/problem-solving capabilities\nAbility to multi-task and be detail-oriented\nAbility to take on a leadership role\nWorks well under pressure\nAbility to work independently as well as in teams\nAbility to build/encourage teamwork and cooperation within work groups\nDesire for continued growth and development\nPossess a sense of urgency while performing tasks accurately\nStrong team player, friendly, patient\nDependable, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and innovative\nAble to work with a diverse group of people\n\nPlastic Molding Technology does not accept unsolicited resumes from staffing agencies or third-party recruiters.
