Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country.\n\nDescription\nCaptivation Software is looking for a senior level software integration engineer who shall be responsible for the automation of installing, configuring, testing, and operational management of system solutions for metrics and monitoring. Additional tasking shall include designing, implementing, verifying, and validating telemetry data-ingest pipelines from HPC infrastructure equipment and services.\n\nRequirements\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment.\nThe individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience.\nAn industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience.\nA Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience using the Linux CLI and tools\nExperience writing scripts using Bash/Python\nGeneral HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage components\nExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) concepts, principles and automation technologies such as Ansible, SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, Terraform\nExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab\nExperience with Git Source Control System\nWillingness to learn Ansible\nDesired Skills:\nExperience with system administration of solutions related to metrics and monitoring, including Logstash and Splunk\nExperience with build-test-release CI/CD pipelines and processes\nExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and Confluence\n\nThis position is open for direct hires only.
