Will be mostly remote. Position Responsibilities: As a Software Architect, you will provide technical leadership in the design and development of modern software solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. This position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise, covering cloud platforms, application and data architecture, and modern engineering approaches.\r\nDesign and develop enterprise software architectures for complex business applications.\r\nDefine architectural standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices to guide development efforts.\r\nLead technical design sessions and facilitate regular architecture reviews for software projects.\r\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable technology solutions.\r\nGuide and support development teams through implementation and deployment, ensuring alignment with architectural vision.\r\nEvaluate and recommend appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and cloud services to achieve business goals.\r\nEnsure applications align with security, performance, availability, and scalability requirements.\r\nPromote Test Driven Development (TDD) and champion modern software engineering practices across teams.\r\nMentor software engineers, fostering technical growth and best practice adoption.\r\nDrive continuous improvement in development processes and platform capabilities.\r\nParticipate in solution planning, effort estimation, and the development of technical roadmaps.\r\nEssential Skills, Experience Minimum of 8 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in software architecture or technical leadership roles.\r\nProven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications.\r\nExpertise in multiple tools across the technology stack, including frontend frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, and deployment technologies.\r\nStrong programming skills with experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET, Python, and Node.js.\r\nExperience developing and advocating for Test Driven Development practices.\r\nIn-depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL technologies.\r\nHands-on experience with container technologies, such as Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.\r\nFamiliarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.\r\nAbility to design microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to address complex technical challenges effectively.\r\nClear and compelling communication skills (both verbal and written), with the capacity to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.\r\nDemonstrated ability to evaluate and learn new technologies quickly in a dynamic environment.\r\nExperience using REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.\r\nRelevant Tools and Technologies: Programming Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, .NET, Python, Node.js\r\nFrontend Frameworks: Vue.js\r\nCloud Platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure\r\nDatabases: Relational SQL, NoSQL\r\nContainerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes\r\nArchitecture: REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Cloud Native Technologies\r\nDevOps: Git, CI/CD Pipelines\r\nQualifications: Bachelor''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.\r\nExperience designing microservices and cloud-native architectures is a strong plus.\r\nECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
