Lead the research initiatives of a team of scientists and analysts who investigate and solve challenging multimedia forensic problems. Your research and development expertise and consulting mindset, coupled with an original approach to your work, will give clients and stakeholders insights into media analysis and encourage actionable results.On our team, you’ll perform forensic analysis and exploitation by leveraging scientific expertise and media analysis tools to digital media. You’ll research and develop novel techniques through algorithm and prototype development in topic areas such as biometric recognition, signal processing, image processing, computer vision, and media geolocation. You’ll analyze scientific publications with a high degree of comprehension, build out concepts from academia into real world use, and analyze current technology to address specific client missions. You’ll attend conferences and community meetings with multimedia forensics experts and present findings and recommendations to non-technical audiences with an emphasis on impacting mission outcomes. You’ll also work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members, including constructive feedback on team members’ research proposals and reports.Join us. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
