The reason people stay so long is because workplace has a light, productive atmosphere where people get their work done and enjoy working together.\n\nWhat You'll Be Responsible For\n\nOversee the day-to-day performance and workflow of the HVAC installation department.\nReview sold-job paperwork, photos, measurements, and other information before installation.\nConfirm the complete scope of work and identify missing or inaccurate information before a job is released to the field.\nCoordinate with the sales team when clarification or additional job information is needed.\nPrepare clear installation instructions and work-order information for field crews.\nDetermine equipment and material requirements and help ensure materials are available before the scheduled installation.\nSchedule and coordinate residential replacement and installation projects.\nSupport approximately two lead installers and two apprentice-level installers as the department continues to develop.\nMonitor installation quality, productivity, callbacks, job completion, and other department performance measures.\nPerform jobsite or quality-control checks as needed.\nResolve installation-related employee and customer concerns promptly and professionally.\nEstablish expectations and hold team members accountable for workmanship, organization, safety, and performance.\nHelp develop a more structured training process for installers and apprentices.\nSupport continued implementation and effective use of ServiceTitan and other field technology.\nCreate a clean, organized, team-oriented installation operation.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nThis role requires someone who knows residential HVAC installation. We are not looking for a general manager who would need to learn the technical side of the department after being hired.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nSignificant residential HVAC installation experience.\nPrevious experience leading installers, technicians, projects, or an HVAC department.\nStrong understanding of HVAC equipment, installation procedures, applications, and terminology.\nAbility to read a duct calculator and properly evaluate residential ductwork layouts.\nKnowledge of job planning, equipment sizing, materials, and installation requirements.\nAbility to identify installation concerns before the crew arrives at the job.\nStrong organization and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple jobs and priorities at the same time.\nA team-focused leadership style combined with the willingness to hold people accountable.\nStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nComfort tracking performance and using data to improve department results.\nBasic computer skills; experience with ServiceTitan is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of ACCA Manual J calculations and duct sizing is strongly preferred.
