Specializing in high-demand collections for Young Men, Juniors, Girls, and Boys, they supply many of the most renowned retailers across the United States. With a close-knit team of 15 professionals, our client is currently experiencing rapid growth and is expanding their creative department to keep pace with new collection drops and market expansion.Job OverviewOur Client is seeking a mid-to-senior level Apparel Graphic Designer with a deep passion for streetwear culture. This is a high-output creative role where "art meets apparel." The successful candidate will work directly under the Creative Director to translate inspiration and creative briefs into wearable art. Unlike general graphic design roles, this position is strictly focused on apparel—creating the graphics, patterns, and visual assets that define a clothing collection. We are looking for an artist who can follow specific creative directions while bringing a unique, trendy edge to every design.Key ResponsibilitiesCreative Production & Collection DesignDesigns new apparel graphics daily, specifically tailored for the Young Men’s streetwear and Juniors markets.Creates comprehensive apparel collections and "drops" based on inspiration and direction provided by the Creative Director.Executes precise art revisions to ensure every piece meets the brand's high standards and retail requirements.Collaborates closely with the creative team and other artists to maintain a cohesive visual identity across all product lines.Direction & Process AdherenceRapidly internalizes the company’s specific art direction and creative aesthetic.Operates within an established creative process to meet tight production deadlines.Translates complex creative briefs into production-ready graphic assets.Qualifications, Skills, and Key CompetenciesRequiredExperience: Mid-to-senior level background with a strong portfolio specifically in streetwear apparel design. Experience in general packaging or corporate branding is not a substitute for apparel-specific expertise.Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.Artistic Background: Strong background as a graphic artist with an understanding of current fashion trends and streetwear aesthetics.Language: Fluent English communication skills; must be able to follow detailed creative instructions and participate in team collaborations.Attributes: Adaptive and coachable; a team player who thrives in a fast-paced wholesale environment and can pivot based on feedback.Setup: Must have a reliable personal computer capable of handling high-resolution design files and a stable internet connection.PreferredStrong illustration skills.Knowledge of print production processes for apparel (screen printing, DTG, etc.).Previous experience in branding for fashion labels.BenefitsCompetitive Salary: Negotiable based on your portfolio and years of industry experience.Paid Time Off: 10 days of PTO per year.Holiday Pay: Major US holidays off.Professional Growth: Work at the center of the New York fashion scene with a company supplying major US retailers.Fast-Paced Culture: Be part of a growing creative team with high-visibility projects.
