The role is based in Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York with a hybrid work model.\r\nCore Responsibilities Develop a data platform infrastructure strategy in coordination with senior leadership, addressing large, open-ended problems.\r\nContribute to the strategic direction of the Platform Engineering team.\r\nCreate technical strategies for broad or complex requirements that extend beyond the team.\r\nParticipate in all aspects of technical architecture, design, prototyping, and implementation supporting Platform Engineering needs.\r\nProvide leadership and technical expertise in developing execution plans.\r\nBuild cross-functional relationships with peers and internal stakeholders.\r\nLead high-visibility technical projects from inception to implementation.\r\nStay current with industry trends and innovations through continuing education.\r\nMentor junior team members on techniques, tools, and best practices.\r\nSupport risk management and protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.\r\nMinimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent professional experience.\r\nFive or more years of related industry experience.\r\nProficient understanding of CI/CD engineering practices.\r\nExperience with on-premise and AWS Cloud infrastructure.\r\nExperience with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).\r\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and code management platforms (Harness, GitLab, Artifactory).\r\nProficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).\r\nExperience with a major programming/scripting language (Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell).\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively.\r\nCapability to make critical technical trade-off decisions that have cross-team impact.\r\nBackground and drug screening compliance.\r\nPreferred Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems or related field.\r\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect within one year of hire.\r\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator certification.\r\nTerraform Authoring and Operations Professional certification.\r\nExperience in FinTech.\r\nPhysical Requirements Work is primarily sedentary with occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching.
