This role focuses on performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to tenant requests, and ensuring systems operate safely under the guidance of senior engineers.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nPerform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems.\n\nAddress service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.\n\nTroubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.\n\nReplace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.\n\nMaintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.\n\nConduct property inspections to identify deficiencies; assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.\n\nFollow company safety protocols and use PPE for all tasks; ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFC, and NFPA regulations; report hazards immediately and participate in safety audits.\n\nParticipate in on-call rotations and respond to emergencies; handle urgent tenant service requests and support recovery efforts during severe weather and system outages.\n\nInteract with tenants, contractors, and property managers; work closely with senior engineers and technicians.\n\nWork closely with senior engineers to develop technical skills; participate in professional development programs.\n\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\n2-3 years of job-related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience.\n\nEngineering and trade licenses required per local, state, or national requirements.\n\nCFC Certification preferred.\n\nDeveloping familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems; gaining experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.\n\nBasic skills with Microsoft Office Outlook and laptop/phone applications for work order systems, email, and training platforms.\n\nAbility to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds; ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, crouching, and kneeling.\n\nApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
