Operational Buyer Direct IIIVacaville, CA 95688Contract: 6+ MonthsOnsite – Monday to Friday, 1st ShiftWe are seeking an experienced Operational Buyer/Procurement professional to support direct raw material purchasing and supplier management activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with suppliers, procurement teams, production planning, and accounts payable to ensure smooth purchasing operations and timely material availability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage purchase orders, confirmations, and supplier communicationsTrack supplier performance and support vendor escalationsResolve delivery, pricing, invoice, and shipping-related issuesSupport procurement operations for direct/raw materialsMaintain accurate vendor and material data within ERP systemsCoordinate with cross-functional teams on supplier onboarding and procurement initiativesConduct open order reviews and support sourcing/bid activitiesAssist with vendor negotiations and supplier performance improvementsRequired QualificationsExperience in procurement, purchasing, or operational buyingStrong experience managing PO processes and supplier relationshipsHands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuiteKnowledge of MRP and supply chain processesStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GMP, manufacturing, or food industriesExperience with direct/raw material procurementAPICS or MRP certification is a plus
