Please see our website at sciotex.com to see the wide variety of scientific and industrial applications our engineers and system developers have delivered to many great research and commercial institutions.\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills & qualifications:\nAdvanced Degree as a Software Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Physics or another engineering/scientific field. 10 years of experience preferred.\nWell-developed software development experience with strong success in languages like Python, C , Matlab and/or LabVIEW and with knowledge of AI platforms, control systems or electronics.\nSolidworks or AutoCAD electrical design experience is helpful.\nMachine Vision / Computer Vision experience helpful.\nStrong analytical and design skills and the ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies.\nBroad technical knowledge spanning a wide range of application areas.\nExcellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills as this position will regularly interact directly with clients.\nAbility to work both alone and on a team with colleagues both remotely and onsite with clients.\nDiscipline and organization with respect to project timelines, software architecture, documentation and support.\nThis is a direct hire position, applications or contact from recruiting firms will not be accepted.\nA flexible hybrid working environment is available. Position requires hands-on interaction with systems and hardware in our fabrication facility.
