Role: Vice President of Cardiovascular Services Location: Grand junction, CODuration: Fulltime/permanent Job SummaryThe Vice President of Cardiovascular Services provides strategic and operational leadership for the comprehensive cardiovascular service line, including the cardiac catheterization lab, cardiology clinic, and cardio-pulmonary rehabilitation programs. This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, financial performance, and service line growth, while fostering strong physician engagement and ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction across all associated departments. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide executive leadership for all cardiovascular service line operationsDevelop and implement strategic plans to expand and enhance cardiovascular servicesOversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost managementEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality benchmarksCollaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to drive patient-centered care and clinical excellenceLead performance improvement initiatives and monitor key quality and outcome metricsRecruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams across all service areasStrengthen relationships with stakeholders, including providers, staff, and community partners Qualifications – License, Education, and/or Experience RequiredMaster’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; MBA or MHA preferredMinimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in cardiology services within a healthcare settingRegistered Nurse (RN) strongly preferredProven track record of financial management, strategic planning, and operational leadershipStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and clinical quality metricsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
