Operations Data Analyst, Expert

Position SummaryThe Data Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. This role requires an exceptional communicator who can clearly explain data, assumptions, and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Power BI for reporting and visualization and Foundry for advanced analytics and data modeling, and is comfortable working across multiple enterprise systems and teams.ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & InsightsAnalyze business data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities for operational and strategic improvementsDemonstrate broad expertise in data processing and analysis, applying analytical techniques to a wide range of business questionsRespond to ad hoc and recurring data requests with accuracy, clarity, and timelinessData Management & IntegrationCollect, clean, validate, and integrate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistencyExtract and analyze data from SAP to support planning, forecasting, and decision-makingManage data extraction and transfer from databases to support operational analysis across teamsCreate automated data routines and processes to ensure efficient, repeatable reporting and data deliveryReporting, Visualization & ToolsDevelop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI to clearly communicate insights and performance metricsUtilize Foundry for advanced analytics, data modeling, and analytical workflows (knowledge of Foundry is preferred, not a requirement)Apply GIS tools for spatial data analysis and mapping to support location-based decision-makingLeverage Copperleaf for asset investment planning, lifecycle cost analysis, and value-based decision support (knowledge of Copperleaf is preferred, not a requirement)Communication & Collaboration (Core Requirement)Clearly communicate analytical findings, assumptions, and recommendations to diverse audiencesTranslate complex data into concise, compelling narratives that support informed decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify challenges, and deliver data-driven solutionsAct as a trusted partner to stakeholders by helping shape analytical questions and clarify insightsMinimum QualificationsBachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Demonstrated experience building and maintaining dashboards in Power BIStrong SQL skills and experience working with structured datasetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex data clearlyStrong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insightsAbility to clearly communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience working in cross-functional teams and translating business needs into data-driven solutions.Desired QualificationsHands-on experience using Foundry for data analysis, data modeling, or workflowsExperience with CopperleafJ-18808-Ljbffr
