You’ll help students discover new words, practice everyday expressions, explore German culture, and—most importantly—build the confidence to communicate in a new language.\nThis is an opportunity to do more than teach vocabulary and grammar. You’ll create experiences that make students curious, excited, and eager to keep learning.\nYou don't need years of classroom experience to succeed in this role. If you're fluent in German, enjoy working with young learners, and can bring energy and creativity into a classroom, we want to hear from you.\nCurriculum guidance and teaching materials are provided, so you can spend less time planning lessons and more time connecting with students.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead fun, interactive German language sessions that keep students engaged and participating\nIntroduce students to practical vocabulary, pronunciation, conversational phrases, and foundational grammar\nUse games, challenges, storytelling, music, cultural activities, and conversation practice to make German memorable\nEncourage students to speak, experiment, ask questions, and build confidence using German\nIntroduce students to German-speaking cultures and traditions in age-appropriate and engaging ways\nAdapt activities and explanations to different learning styles and levels of understanding\nCreate a welcoming classroom where every student feels comfortable participating and making mistakes\nEncourage curiosity, creativity, and a genuine interest in learning a new language\nMonitor participation and provide positive, constructive feedback\nMaintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment\nCommunicate professionally with program coordinators and school staff\nArrive prepared, energetic, and ready to make each class an experience students look forward to\nWhat We're Looking For\nYou don't have to fit a traditional “teacher” profile.
