As we continue to grow, we are seeking multiple energetic and qualified Sanitation to take our team to the next level of excellence we are striving for. What We're Looking For:We are currently hiring a full-time non-exempt (overtime qualified) Sanitation team member. As a Twin City Foods (Lake Odessa Division) Sanitation team member your main purpose would be to sanitize different areas of the plant, general housekeeping, clean and sanitize equipment. Use chemicals and follow strict food safety guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Cleaning of all areas of the plant including floors, ceilings, walls, gutters, and equipment, at times, using ladder, fork truck cages, lifts, and cat walks. • Dispense and use proper chemicals for each job. • Maintain footbaths and hand wash stations and fork truck dip. • Sanitize repack, dumper and scale room at changeover. • Sanitize bean room, warehouse. Tunnel area, tote area, and repack tools. • Keep drains cleared at all times. • Prep all cleaning chemicals and utensils for different jobs in different areas. *This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions associated with the job. Minimum Qualifications/Certifications/Experience Required:• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lb. • Must be able to follow lock out procedures on necessary equipment. • Must have ability to tear down equipment and reassemble it. • Must be able to properly use all cleaning equipment and chemicals. • Must be able to work with chemicals and withstand the aroma of chemicals. • Must know how to use all necessary PPE and understand its purpose. • Must be able to work off from ladders, fork truck cages and cat walks. • Must be self-motivated and display logical thinking. • Must be able to properly handle the use, dispersion, and storage of sanitation chemicals. • Must be able to closely follow food safety and safety rules and procedures.
