This role also leads creative direction for external partners while producing day-to-day content, including quick-turn video and real-time social media engagement, to expand reach and drive meaningful audience action.\r\nResponsibilities Content Creation & Digital Storytelling (40%)\r\nCreate engaging, authentic, and platform-optimized content including graphics, threads, carousels, and reactive content in partnership with issue and communications leads\r\nProduce platform-native content that encourages participation, conversation, and sharing\r\nTranslate complex policy and democracy reform topics into accessible, compelling digital storytelling\r\nLead creative direction for content produced by external design and editing partners\r\nProvide raw footage and creative briefs to external relevance\r\nMaintain a steady cadence of interactive and community-centered posts\r\nCommunity Engagement & Real-Time Participation (30%)\r\nConduct daily social listening and trend monitoring to identify real-time engagement opportunities\r\nActively engage with followers, partners, and influencers through replies, comments, and quote responses\r\nManage DMs, mentions, and notifications with a community-first approach\r\nParticipate in relevant online conversations to expand visibility and credibility\r\nSurface community feedback and sentiment trends to the communications team\r\nBuild While it's preferred for this role to be based in the Washington, D.C. area, it could become remote if the selected candidate is highly qualified.
