We have a culture that demands excellence from our students while providing them the supports they need to achieve at high levels and prepare for college. 96% of TECH Freire’s Class of 2024 were accepted to college and earned over $7 million in college scholarships and aid.TECH Freire Charter School (9-12): 2221 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19132What you’ll doAs a high school nurse, you'll provide compassionate and comprehensive healthcare services, including first aid, health education, and confidential counseling to promote the well-being of students and staff. Your role involves collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all students.ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality nursing care to students and communicate effectively with parents as needed.Maintain all student health files and a daily log of all student visits to the nurse’s office Schedule student screenings in accordance with state and federal health regulationsProperly store and administer medication to students as requested by parents or physicians according to the medication guidelinesPerform other school health related duties as assignedWho you areYou possess an unwavering belief that our students are capable of success, and you both exude and cultivate our values of equity, love, critical thinking, and diversity.
