The Assembler isresponsible for assembling various components for our buses. As an assembler, you must ensure that all parts are installed according to production specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. You will be called upon to work in several different departments of our production line and you must be proficient in accessing, understanding, and utilizing all relevant production tools, documentation, and specialized computer programs used by Micro Bird. This position requires a strong understanding of vehicle systems, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Work may or may not be repetitive and requires versatility on your part.\n\nWhat you will do regularly:\nInstall and secure various parts and sub-assemblies into vehicles on the production line. This includes securing bolts, fasteners, connectors, and electrical systems while ensuring proper alignment and functionality.\nAssemble automotive components, including body parts, electrical systems, interior components, and other mechanical parts in line with production specifications and quality standards.\nEnsure all work meets established quality standards before they are moved to the next stage of the production process.\nAdhere to blueprints, assembly manuals, and work orders to ensure parts are correctly assembled. Understand and follow detailed work instructions for each vehicle model being produced.\nWork collaboratively with others to meet production targets. Assist in the training of junior team members.\nMaintain and clean equipment, tools, and work area.\nFollow safety protocols and guidelines.\nMinimum Requirements:\nExperience working on a production line or in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the automotive industry.\nAbility to operate hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.\nFamiliarity with quality control processes and standards in an automotive setting.\nMust be comfortable using a computer as part of daily activities.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to communicate effectively and work well with others.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures.\nUse hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and to climb or balance; reach with hands and arms including overhead; stoop, kneel, crouch.
