Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Business Continuous Improvement Department in an office/production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.\n\nThe Continuous Improvement Engineer will analyze processes, lead improvement initiatives, and support implementation of data-driven solutions while assisting this Business Continuous Improvement Department as needed.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and increasing productivity across operations\n\nAnalyze manufacturing and business processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities\n\nDevelop and implement process improvements using Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies\n\nConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for operational issues\n\nCollaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to improve workflows and performance\n\nCollect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support improvement initiatives and decision-making\n\nDevelop process maps, workflow documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)\n\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including cycle time, throughput, labor efficiency, and OEE\n\nLead Kaizen events, process improvement workshops, and cross-functional projects\n\nSupport automation and digitalization initiatives to improve operational efficiency\n\nIdentify opportunities to standardize processes and improve consistency across departments\n\nAssist in capacity planning, labor optimization, and workflow balancing activities\n\nDevelop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project performance and improvement results\n\nTrain and support employees on continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and best practices\n\nSupport implementation and sustainment of 5S and visual management initiatives\n\nOther Duties as assigned\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or related field required\n\n2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or manufacturing environment preferred\n\nStrong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies\n\nExperience with root cause analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques\n\nStrong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail\n\nExperience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and KPI reporting\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)\n\nExperience with Power BI, SQL, or data visualization tools preferred\n\nStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nExperience in electronics manufacturing or production environment preferred\n\nAbility to sit, stand, and walk in an office and production environment and lift up to 25 pounds\n\nReasons you should work for
