This position offers the opportunity to work closely with manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams to enhance yield, reliability, and operational efficiency while supporting some of the most advanced semiconductor technologies in the industry.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOptimize test programs and methodologies to improve product performance, test efficiency, and manufacturing throughput.\nMaintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and support production test hardware, fixtures, and probe card test systems.\nPerform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) for complex hardware failures, equipment-related issues, test escapes, yield degradation, and manufacturing challenges escalated by technician teams.\nAnalyze electrical test data, process metrics, and equipment log files to identify trends, improve process stability, and drive corrective actions.\nMonitor production test performance and implement solutions to improve quality, reliability, and repeatability.\nPartner with Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and Quality teams to investigate failures and resolve technical issues impacting production.\nDevelop and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing equipment uptime, reducing setup times, improving yield, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.\nCreate and maintain engineering documentation, troubleshooting procedures, test methods, and standard operating procedures.\nSupport new product introductions by developing and validating test processes and qualification plans.\nDrive data-driven decision making using statistical analysis techniques and engineering best practices.\nEnsure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and cleanroom operating procedures.\nPreferred Qualifications & Experiences:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience supporting semiconductor test operations, probe card manufacturing, wafer probing, electronics test, or advanced manufacturing environments.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor test equipment operations, troubleshooting methodologies, and failure analysis techniques.\nProficiency with statistical analysis tools and methodologies used to evaluate yield, process capability, and equipment performance.\nExperience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, test plans, and technical documentation.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues.\nKnowledge of electrical measurements, including resistance, capacitance, continuity, and voltage analysis.\nExperience utilizing data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, or similar engineering applications.\nDirect experience sustaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and optimizing: Automated Test Equipment (ATE), Wafer Test Probers, Semiconductor metrology systems, and Probe card test and characterization equipment.\nTechnical proficiency with: Onto (formerly Rudolph) PRVX4, and ProbeWorx300 Probe Card Analyzer.\nExperience using advanced diagnostic tools for yield analysis, process control, and failure investigation.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and continuous improvement methodologies.\nFarmers Branch, TX\nBenefits offered for this role include medical, dental, vision, EAP, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending and savings accounts, 401(k), ESPP and paid time off.\nSkills:\nAdaptability, Analytical Thinking, Communication, Continuous Process, Data-Driven Decision Making, Data Visualization Tools, Detail-Oriented, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Microsoft Office, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Troubleshooting, Working in a Fast-Paced Environment\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience | Required\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement\nFormFactor is an equal opportunity employer.
