Do you want a small team around you and real control over how onboarding and implementation actually work, from a short customer training through a large custom implementation? Do you want to work in an entrepreneurial environment that is flexible and focused on results? If so, we might have the perfect opportunity for you!\n\nCrelate, a fast-growing startup with over 1,500 customers, is seeking an Implementation Lead to join our growing team. Nearly every client who comes to us arrives carrying years of data in another system, and how well that data lands decides whether they ever really adopt the product. This is a builder's seat, not a management seat. You will personally own our most technically complex implementations, and you will lead a small team that shapes the whole onboarding journey with you.\n\nCrelate's mission is to help more people, connect with better opportunities, more often. To do this, we are building the fastest, easiest, and most flexible recruiting and talent engagement software on the market, and we need your help to get the word out!\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOwn the complex, heavily customized migrations from discovery through final approval, including staging, QA against the mapped requirements, client revisions, and the final sign off that says the migration is complete and correct.\n\nShape the onboarding and implementation journey end to end, from short customer trainings through large custom implementations, defining the stages, the gates and the handoffs and then getting the team running against them.\n\nLead a small team of implementation consultants, working the hard problems alongside them rather than taking the problems away, so complex work stops routing to one person.\n\nRun data discovery with new clients: get into their current system, understand how they actually use it as opposed to how it was designed, and turn that into requirements the client agrees to and we can deliver against.\n\nLead customer data review meetings, explain trade-offs to people who are not technical, and hold a line on scope without damaging the relationship.\n\nBe the escalation point when a migration will not behave or a client relationship is going sideways, and know when to pull in engineering.\n\nOwn scoping accuracy: size projects before they are sold, and own the conversation with sales when the estimate and the sold scope disagree.\n\nPlan capacity across the team, decide who takes what, and flag early when the plan and the pipeline do not agree.\n\nWork directly with our developers on migration tooling, bringing the field evidence that decides what gets built to remove manual work.\n\nParticipate in the daily standup, drive your projects to done, and work collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nSkills & Experience:\n\n5+ years implementing or migrating clients onto a CRM, ATS, HRIS or comparable system of record, on the vendor side.\n\nA leader on an implementation, onboarding or professional services team. You may have managed one formally, or you may simply be the person your team already turns to and are ready to step into leading a small one.\n\nSQL fundamentals. You can query a dataset yourself, find the records that will not map, and explain why.\n\nReal data mapping across systems with different schemas, not just import templates.\n\nRequirements gathering directly with clients, including hearing what they need underneath what they asked for.\n\nData validation and QA discipline. You check before you sign off, and you have a method for it rather than a habit.\n\nStrong client communication. Comfortable running the meeting, delivering hard news, and holding a date without overpromising.\n\nStrong AI skills. Put AI to work to accelerate time to value and the impact you can have, while being 100% responsible for the output.\n\nDesired Experience:\n\nStaffing, recruiting or executive search industry experience.
