Nightwing is seeking a Technical Engagement Network (TEN) Lab Manager with experience in Linux, Splunk and Ansible System Administration to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities in the customer environment supporting analysts and business continuity of the customer mission.\r\nResponsibilities Serve as a lead Linux Systems Administrator overseeing Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments across development, lab, and production systems.\r\nPerform large scale configuration management and deployment across Windows, MacOS, Linux/Unix, and other operating systems and virtual environments to support the TEN infrastructure.\r\nSupporting the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment.\r\nProviding ongoing systems administration, technical support, upgrades, patching and troubleshooting services\r\nDevelop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.\r\nConfigure, deploy, and maintain Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for large-scale provisioning, configuration management, and compliance enforcement.\r\nAdminister and maintain Splunk Enterprise/Splunk Cloud for system monitoring, security analytics, and operational intelligence\r\nImplement and monitor security controls, including STIG compliance, access management, and audit configurations for Linux and Splunk systems.\r\nDevelop dashboards and alerts in Splunk for proactive system health, performance, and security event monitoring.\r\nPerforming implementation of granular access control, and monitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish back-ups, and monitor systems security.\r\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex storage problems across the enterprise related to storage and replication strategies across local and wide area networks, monitor channels for storage-related network and system issues and remediate them as they occur.\r\nExamine and identify efficiencies that can be made to existing procedures, with approval from the customer.\r\nManaging assigned project components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.\r\nAdvises and provides insight on development of lab standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.\r\nEmploy security concepts, theories, insights, tools and methodologies to mitigate system weaknesses and vulnerabilities.\r\nRequired Skills U.S. Citizenship\r\nMust have an active DoD Secret clearance, TS/SCI clearance is preferred.\r\nMust be able to obtain DHS Suitability.\r\n5+ years of directly relevant experience as a Linux System Administrator.\r\n3+ years of experience with Splunk Enterprise administration and log ingestion\r\n3+ years of experience with Ansible automation (Ansible Core or Ansible Tower/AAP)\r\nMust be able to work collaboratively across physical locations.\r\nDesired Skills Experience with writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures.\r\nVirtualization automation and optimization.\r\nExperience with multiple operating systems to include Linux/Unix, Windows, MacOS.\r\nDesired Certifications DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II\r\nSalary & Benefits Salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise.
