You will work directly with clients and our internal teams to design, implement, and optimize modern data platforms in Snowflake.\r\nThis role is ideal for experienced data engineers who want to expand their impact by engaging with clients early in the process to understand requirements, shape solutions, and then lead the delivery of high-quality implementations. While you will occasionally support the scoping of new projects, this is not a sales role — your primary focus will be on technical execution, solution architecture, and delivery leadership.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nDesign and build scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions in Snowflake.\r\nDevelop and optimize data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Python, CloverDX, and cloud-native services.\r\nParticipate in discovery sessions with clients to gather requirements and translate them into solution designs and project plans.\r\nCollaborate with engagement managers and account teams to help scope work and provide technical input for Statements of Work (SOWs).\r\nServe as a Snowflake subject matter expert, guiding best practices in performance tuning, cost optimization, access control, and workload management.\r\nLead modernization and migration initiatives to move clients from legacy systems into Snowflake.\r\nIntegrate Snowflake with BI tools, governance platforms, and AI/ML frameworks.\r\nContribute to internal accelerators, frameworks, and proofs of concept.\r\nMentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team.\r\nSupervisory Responsibilities: None\r\nQualifications\r\n7+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or data architecture.\r\n3+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience (performance tuning, data sharing, Snowpark, Snowpipe, etc.).\r\nStrong SQL and Python skills, with production experience using dbt.\r\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tooling (Airflow, Fivetran, Power BI, Looker, Informatica, etc.).\r\nPrior experience in a consulting or client-facing delivery role.\r\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and business stakeholders.\r\nPreferred - SnowPro Certification\r\nWork Environment\r\nRemote work from home.\r\nHours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday. Specific business hours will depend on client needs.\r\nPhysical Demands\r\nMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.\r\nThe person in this position must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, library stacks, office machinery, etc.\r\nConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.\r\nThe person in this position frequently communicates with clients and coworkers.
