This is a great chance to help build an automation framework from scratch, as the project shifts from manual to automated testing.ResponsibilitiesDevelop functional, integration, and acceptance test casesCreate automated test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testingOrganize and execute automation tasks while upholding testing standards across the teamIncorporate test cycles into the DevOps pipelineResolve system issues creatively and efficiently through effective troubleshootingBuild automation for backend services (REST APIs) and frontendRecord and report defectsOversee test data and test environmentsHandle version management of test scriptsRequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred5+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3+ years in test automation development or a mix of development and testing experienceProficiency in JavaBackground in REST and SOAP API testing, ideally with SOAPUI and Groovy scriptingExpertise in Selenium or comparable tools, together with CucumberCapability to build and maintain automation scripts that ensure information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteriaFamiliarity with Agile methodologySkills in functional, integration, and regression testing, including authoring unit tests for robustness, edge cases, usability, and overall reliabilityKnowledge of manual testing at a solid levelCompetency in connecting test suites to CI/CD pipelinesStrong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting abilitiesExcellent communication and documentation skills, including client-facing experienceEnglish proficiency at B2 level or aboveNice to haveBackground in Financial Services and/or Wealth Management domainsFamiliarity with Apache Maven as well as GradleUnderstanding of Mainframe systemsWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersHealthcare benefitsEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedInEPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
