This role assists with daily living activities, personal care,companionship, homemaking, and safety support based on each client's individualized careplan.The ideal caregiver is patient, reliable, respectful, and committed to helping others maintainindependence and quality of life. Every visit is an opportunity to provide care that is not onlysafe and professional, but also deeply human.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities• Provide personal care support, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing,eating, toileting, mobility, positioning, and transfers.• Assist with daily routines that support client comfort, independence, and dignity.• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to reduce isolation and supportemotional well-being.• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands, and otherhomemaker tasks as assigned.• Support safe mobility, including walking, transferring, turning, positioning, and use ofapproved assistive equipment when appropriate.• Provide medication reminders or assistance with pre-dosed medications within roleguidelines and applicable regulations.• Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, needs, or safety concerns tothe appropriate supervisor.• Follow each client's individualized care plan and document services accurately andtimely.• Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries.• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, supervisors, and care team members.• Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every person supported.QualificationsWhat You Bring• A compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to care.• A genuine interest in helping people live safely and independently at home.• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and families.• Reliability, punctuality, and follow-through.• Ability to work independently while staying connected to the broader care team.• Comfort assisting with personal care and daily living needs.• Ability to lift, transfer, turn, or reposition clients as required by the care plan.• Authorized to work in the United States.• Prior caregiving, home care, PCA, CNA, DSP, or direct support experience preferred, butnot always required.Why Join AmivieAt Amivie, caregivers are valued members of the care team.
