In this role, you will architect and implement innovative industrial automation solutions leveraging Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform. Reporting to the Solutions Manager, you will create scalable, reusable frameworks that transform industrial operations—integrating IIoT, SCADA, and modern DevOps practices.If you’re passionate about solving complex industrial challenges and building sustainable, future-focused systems, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Ignition-based solutions that enhance operational excellence across diverse industrial environments.Build scalable, reusable templates enabling rapid deployment and consistent implementation.Architect robust SCADA systems integrating industrial protocols and data sources.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with organizational and customer needs.Develop responsive user interfaces that turn complex data into actionable insights.Implement quality control processes to ensure consistency and compliance.Configure, install, and troubleshoot industrial hardware/software systems.Create and maintain system documentation, diagrams, and configuration templates.Partner with technical teams to share knowledge and drive continuous improvement.QualificationsExperience & Skills:5+ years as an Ignition Developer with Gold Certification.3–5 years of Java and Python development experience.2–3 years of ReactJS experience.Strong knowledge of Ignition SDK.Understanding of industrial protocols (MQTT, Modbus, OPC-UA, DNP3).Familiarity with GitHub and version control practices.Strong background in industrial systems, networks, and infrastructure.Experience with Windows/Linux OS, virtualization, and cloud services.Control systems panel design/build experience a plus.Background in alternative energy power management a plus.Knowledge of network and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Python).Relevant certifications are a plus.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.Behavioral CompetenciesEntrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for tackling challenges.Strong communicator with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.Collaborative, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Passion for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.Analytical thinker with creative problem-solving skills.Sense of humor and ability to foster positive team relationships.Physical Demands & Working ConditionsAbility to sit/stand for extended periods (up to 8+ hours).Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).Ability to understand and communicate safety precautions.Ready to apply?
