With a global reach and breakthrough inventions, we deliver products that enable the world to breathe easier, live greener, and progress further than ever before.\nResponsibilities Monitor process variables to ensure production standards are met and take action as needed.\nDevelop and maintain engineering standards to ensure product quality is met.\nReduce process variations to consistently produce products at target quality level and lowest production cost.\nDevelop best practices to reduce process variations in collaboration with the quality function.\nTake an active part in the Site Safety Improvement Plan and bring technical expertise to help the site reduce risks.\nReview operations and confer with technical, manufacturing and quality personnel to resolve production or processing problems.\nAnalyze production issues using collected data and knowledge of the process to provide engineering solutions.\nAttend production stoppages and work to return the facility to operation as soon as possible.\nLead process engineering related troubleshooting (batch making issues, spinning, converting, on-line scraps).\nActively identify and recommend process improvements in support of overall continuous improvement and cost savings.\nProvide recommendations for safe equipment operation and appropriate application of available technology.\nEnsure adequate documentation & training is in place to ensure processes perform to standards and conform to quality expectations.\nConduct training sessions aimed at improving employees’ base understanding of production process and customer requirements, enhancing problem‑solving skills.\nSupport R&D trials of new products, new/alternate process materials, material suppliers, or process parameters.\nEnsure team operations, including third‑party service providers, comply with Alkegen health and safety, quality, environmental and corporate policies.\nBe actively involved in personal development plans to maximize performance and contribution to succession requirements of the business.\nMaintain Alkegen's highest level of safety standards, identify and correct unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, embody core safety principles, use PPE, and champion safety daily.\nQualifications and Experience Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, materials, mechanical or industrial engineering.\n2-5 years related experience in a chemical/materials manufacturing environment or technical role.\nStatistical analysis and problem solving (e.g., DOE) knowledge.\nStrong interpersonal, communication (written, oral, presentations) and computer skills (e.g., Wonderware, Excel, statistical packages).\nTeam player capable of working closely with other process engineers, quality technicians, operators, maintenance personnel to determine practical solutions.\nPreferred Attributes Hands‑on self‑starter with self‑accountability.\nAttention to detail, inquisitive personality.\nAptitude for statistical analysis techniques.\nUnderstanding of continuous manufacturing.\nAbility to adjust daily priorities to meet changing site needs.\nWork safely under pressure and tight timescales.\nExperience in fast‑paced manufacturing environments, ideally with chemical and/or automotive experience.\nStrong work ethic to become a subject matter expert.\nCompensation Salary range: $81,000 - $101,000. Compensation may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
