Hardware Validation Tech

Role- Hardware Validation Tech Onsite: Sunnyvale, CA As a Systems Lab Hardware Test Technician, you will be supporting a team of hardware design, test, and qualification Engineers who are responsible for system prototype bring-up, validation, and qualification. 1-3 years' experience with hardware and software We don't need candidates with 10+ years of experience. Responsibilities Support various hardware system prototype bringup and qualification testing activities under minimal supervision by building and testing multi-rack, multi-system testbeds. Coordinate with a team of hardware designers, qualification and test engineers, on project planning within hardware development labs, and ensure adequate resources are available. Manage lab budgets for test resources, equipment, and systems rack facility related projects. Minimum qualifications: Electrical Engineering background Experience working in hardware development labs and supporting hardware bring-up. Experience with hardware evaluation methodologies including lab measurements, performance monitoring, test automation, and data analysis. Preferred qualifications: Experience with Linux and software scripting languages. Knowledge of network infrastructure Knowledge of computer systems (e.g., physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, thermal etc.). Ability to root-cause a failure in a testbed. Setup units in chamber lab area (experience with chamber) Ability to lift 50lbs
