The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting maintenance issues across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general home systems.This is a very active, field-based role working across multiple properties where no two days are the same. You will play a key role in maintaining property quality, supporting operations, and ensuring guests arrive to homes that meet Grand Welcome standards.Compensation & BenefitsGuaranteed 40 hours per week+Tools provided (if you do not have your own)401(k) with company match2 weeks paid time off after 12 months of employmentOpportunity to grow with a fast-growing vacation rental management companyKey ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining vacation rental homes and supporting field operations to ensure properties remain safe, functional, and guest-ready.Responsibilities include:Conducting property inspections before each guest arrival to ensure homes meet guest-ready standardsPerforming routine maintenance and preventative maintenance tasksTroubleshooting and repairing issues related to mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systemsDrywall repair, patching, texturing, and interior paintingBasic plumbing repairs and fixture replacementsBasic electrical repairs and troubleshootingExterior power washing and property upkeepPest control spraying and preventionResponding to maintenance requests across multiple propertiesSupporting field operations and assisting the operations team as neededReading and interpreting schematics or technical diagrams when diagnosing equipment or system issuesUsing diagnostic tools and meters to identify electrical issues when necessaryMaintaining organized records of maintenance activities and completed workCommunicating clearly with operations staff regarding property conditions or repair needsSupporting property improvement and maintenance projectsPhysical RequirementsThis is a very active, hands-on job requiring physical work throughout the day.The position frequently requires:Standing and walking for extended periodsBending, kneeling, and crawlingLifting and carrying tools or equipmentWorking both indoors and outdoors xaygatp in varying conditionsThese activities are required almost daily.RequirementsGED or High School Diploma requiredClean driving recordNo felony or theft-related convictionsDrug-free workplaceProfessional appearance / clean cutAbility to work independently and solve problems in the fieldStrong work ethic and reliabilityPreferred QualificationsHVAC certification strongly preferredExperience in property maintenance, handyman services, construction, or facilities maintenanceExperience troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, drywall, and paintingFamiliarity with maintenance management systems or work order trackingAbility to read electrical diagrams or schematicsPrior field operations or maintenance team experience is a plus
