Summary:\nAs an ABEC Electrical Assembler you will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to testing, building, and modifying various types of electrical equipment and components by reading and interpreting drawings.\nResponsibilities:\nFabricate electrical equipment according to drawings.\nReceive components and confirm against drawing and/or list of materials or quality standards.\nSolder/fit/assemble components.\nFabricate specialty parts.\nRecommend improvements.\nConduct operations in a safe manner.\nFollow all safety rules and policies.\nInspect fabrications for quality, safety, and operation as requested.\nAudit equipment against drawings as requested.\nPrepare equipment for shipment.\nSupport fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested.\nSupport start-up and equipment repair as requested.\nTroubleshoot and repair systems as requested.\nExecute other tasks as assigned.\nAbility to travel to customer sites domestically or internationally, and ability to travel to other ABEC locations when required.\nWill play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity.\nRequirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent.\n2 years post-graduate in Manufacturing.\n2 years’ experience in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls.\nAble to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./ 23 kilograms.\nTypical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer’s site.\nRequired to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor.\nYou will need to be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items.\nExposure to loud noises.\nAbility to wear personal protective equipment.\nAwareness of and prior experience with implementing Continuous Improvement (CI) a
