We have a Project Controller (Intermediate) role on the team.\nPay Rate: $47.32/hour on W2\nWork Type: Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home\nLocation: Houston, TX 77002\nDuration: 24 month contract (with possible extension and conversion)\nJob Overview:\nProvides project management support services in the areas of project initiation, cost management, change management, progress measurement, reporting, and project closeout. Project Controls collaborates with project managers on the development and review of the project plan, estimate, schedule, risk, and contractual requirements. Develops and implements project controls and monitoring procedures to ensure the achievement of project schedule and cost objectives. Collects, analyzes, and reports on project data and costs from various stakeholders (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction, and accounting).\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvides input on the PC Organizational structure and maintains the staffing worksheet\nFull understanding of the overall project scope\nReviews the estimate and maps to the control WBS\nSets up control WBS and budgets in SAP\nProvides input into the project controls plan\nReviews schedule, provides input, and maintains a list of project key milestones\nEnsures the project has appropriate AFE funding\nReviews schedule and other forecast drivers to update project time phasing for control budget and estimate to complete\nCompletes requisitions for commitment of project materials and services\nCompletes incurred costs reporting and variance explanations\nMonitors cost and is committed to the budget and forecast.\nUpdates the cost management system with time-phased data, contractor progress, and project trends\nReview project invoices to ensure that costs align with incurred costs\nReview contractor cost and progress, and provide input to estimate at completion\nUnderstanding of Earned Value Management, rules of credit, and progress measurement\nMonitors cost progress and performance metrics to establish potential and pending trends\nInterfaces with project management, engineering, construction, and procurement departments for project forecasting and trends\nPreparation of detailed project cost reports, scorecards, and project scans\nResponsible for maintaining the project trend log\nParticipates in HRIM and QRA meetings and updates budgets and forecasts accordingly\nProvides overall support to Senior Project Controls\nMakes project presentations to management as required.\nInvolved in Administrative, Financial, and System close-out activities\nQualifications & Requirements:\nUniversity degree with 5 to 10 years of related experience\nTypically operates under supervision with clearly defined assignments and precise instructions.\nWould be part of a project controls team on large-scale projects and support intermediate\nField experience is considered an asset\nExperience with executing moderate-risk capital projects of different asset types such as pipe and cilities, through both Development and Implementation phases.\nRaise PBC is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination and equal opportunity for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetics, gender identity, veterans' status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law.
