Lifecycle Marketing Specialist (Contract) - MUST HAVE MARKETO - Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, GA | Miami, FL | Austin, TX)Duration: 9 MonthsCommitment: Full-time hours (approx. 40 hours/week)Position OverviewWe are seeking an execution-focused Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our team for a 9-month contract engagement. In this role, you will act as an embedded extension of the Lifecycle Marketing team, focusing on building automated nurture programs, scaling our communications infrastructure, and improving execution velocity across our marketing technology stack.The ideal candidate is a Marketo expert who balances technical precision with the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLifecycle Automation: Build, test, and deploy end-to-end customer journey programs and nurture streams.Trust Communications: Establish and manage the infrastructure for critical customer trust communications.Segmentation & Data: Implement an improved segmentation framework tied to product and account data to reduce manual list-building.Omnichannel Execution: Coordinate cohesive email and in-app messaging programs (via Pendo) to ensure a seamless customer experience.Process Standardization: Develop and document standardized Marketo templates and lifecycle processes to ensure long-term sustainability.Optimization: Monitor performance metrics and provide regular recommendations for campaign and journey improvements.Weekly Focus Breakdown40%: Customer Lifecycle journey builds and automation.30%: Trust Communications infrastructure and execution.20%: GTM support and campaign queue management.10%: In-app messaging and reporting/documentation.QualificationsPlatform Expertise: Marketo is a requirement. You must be highly proficient in navigating, building, and troubleshooting within the platform.Tooling: Experience with Pendo (or similar in-app messaging tools) is strongly preferred.Technical Execution: Proven track record of managing complex segmentation and high-volume campaign queues.Operational Mindset: Highly detail-oriented with a focus on QA rigor and process improvement.Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Customer Success, and External Affairs teams.Success MetricsSuccessful deployment of fully operational lifecycle nurture programs.Reduction in campaign backlog and improved speed-to-market.High QA accuracy with minimal execution errors.Enhanced automation sophistication and documented sustainable processes.
