This role helps drive operational excellence by identifying cost optimization opportunities, improving quoting processes, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer requests while supporting organizational growth and profitability.\n\nWhat a typical day looks like:\n\nComplete the detailed Cost models for each quote, ensuring correct processes, content and verify all assumptions with Business teams and operations\nFollow all necessary internal documented processes required for quotes\nParticipate in Quote Strategy / Attend Kick-Off calls\nDetailed technical review of customer documentation as necessary\nBuild and manage relationships with site engineering resources\nCheck & balance of manufacturing site and sales team to ensure profitability\nCreate cost models for budgetary or quick turn quotes when demand requires\nCost Model data manipulation / Cost & Price roll-up / VAM Creation based on docs and quote strategy\nSite engineering and Finance Cost and operations communication\nReview any cost model inputs provided by sites for accuracy\nEnsure financial viability and accuracy of cost models used\nDocumentation of any cost activity for future changes and/or evaluations\nProvide financial evaluation for the BDM Team on quote\nProvide final pricing and financial assumption to be included in quote letter\nCost model improvement plans\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n\nBachelor’s Degree Finance or equivalent experience in Manufacturing Industry\n4+ years Supervisor experience\n4+ years Quote Engineering/ Financial / Product Evaluations/ Commodities\nExpert in Microsoft office\nExpert in Excel & PowerPoint\nExpert Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)\n\nAC29\n\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\n\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\n\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
