This role involves managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives. As the primary point of contact, you will liaise with clients and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nSalary range: $120-150k depending one experience\n\nResponsibilities:\nProject Oversight: Direct and manage projects to achieve high standards of quality, adherence to schedules, and budget goals. Ensure timely completion by overseeing and coordinating all project activities.\nDesign Execution: Develop and update design documents, including one-line diagrams, electrical plans, and specifications. Use engineering software for tasks such as ground grid design, relay coordination, transformer sizing, load flow, and short circuit analysis.\nCoordination and Communication: Collaborate with customers, project teams, and management to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, addressing any deviations promptly.\nStandards Compliance: Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant standards (NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI) and utilize the document management system effectively.\nProblem Solving: Identify potential project issues and provide solutions. Travel as required for project needs and perform additional duties as assigned.\nTravel: Undertake short-term travel as required by project assignments.\nQualifications:\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution, with a preference for a focus on power systems.\nExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage (230kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design.\n\nSkills:\n\nTechnical Expertise: Advanced understanding of high voltage electrical substation components, AC/DC fundamentals, and three-phase power systems.
