Scientist I (contract)

Sanofi’s contingent workforce program, FLEXT Direct, is seeking a highly motivated Scientist I to join the Analytical Development group within the Genomic Medicine Unit BioAnalytics team.In this role, you will support the development, validation, and transfer of analytical methods used for characterization and release testing of viral and non-viral therapeutics supporting gene therapy and clinical development programs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform sample testing and assay development activitiesDevelop and validate PCR-based assays and related analytical methodsSupport gene therapy development within a cGMP laboratory environmentCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teamsMaintain accurate documentation and strong attention to detailParticipate primarily in laboratory-based work with limited meeting responsibilitiesQualificationsMS degree with 2+ years of industry experience ORBS degree with 4–6 years of industry experience ORRecent PhD graduates encouraged to applyPreferred Experience & SkillsStrong background in qPCR, dPCR, or ddPCRExperience with QuantStudio 5 PCR System preferredMolecular biology or cell biology background preferredAssay development experience preferredNext-generation sequencing (NGS) experience preferredCell culture and bioassay experience is a plusGMP/cGMP experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skills
