Child Saving Institute (CSI) is looking for someone who has a mind full of wonder and a heart-filled desire to make a difference! We’re on a mission to champion what’s best for each child and family.
As a Crisis Youth Care Specialist, you’ll be an essential part of our team. Your responsibilities will include supervising and implementing behavior management techniques and de-escalation by providing direct support, mentorship and supervision to the youth in the short-term Crisis Stabilization program. In short, our CSRS Youth Care Specialist serve as a vital advocate and support system for children and adolescents experience mental health crisis.

Someone who:
Has a positive and reliable work ethic
Holds experience working with children and families
Demonstrates sound judgment and crisis management skills
Builds effective, therapeutic relationships with youth
Qualifications
Do you think you’d be a good fit for this role? Ideally, you are:
21 years of age or older
Must have valid auto insurance
Experienced in human services, especially residential or youth-focused work
Able to communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and manage youth behavior effectively
Knowledgeable about child development, trauma-informed care, and group dynamics
A team player who is patient, flexible, and emotionally grounded
Bonus Points
Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field
CPI training and certification
Experience working in a residential care or crisis setting
Bilingual abilities
