Senior Financial Manager

Applied Research Solutions is looking for a Senior Financial Manager to support the Electronic Warfare Directorate at Robins, AFB. The Financial Management Analyst will support the program office by providing expert financial analysis, budget development, reconciliation support, and documentation preparation. This role requires deep familiarity with DoD financial management regulations, Air Force financial systems, and acquisition processes. ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers.Responsibilities include:Apply knowledge of DoDD 5000.01, DoDI 5000.02, DoD Financial Management Regulations, AFI 65 series, AFMC Financial Instructions, and DFAS guidance to all financial tasksPrepare program reports, financial documentation, and budget materialsAnalyze financial processes, draw conclusions, and recommend solutions to improve financial management effectiveness and system efficiencyDevelop, update, and maintain program budgets and financial tracking toolsAnalyze ABIDES outputs and maintain historical comparison documentationUtilize IDECS/IDECS II to prepare and update Procurement and RDT&E documentation, ensuring alignment with ABIDES dataConduct monthly reviews of MIPRs and MORDs in accordance with applicable policyParticipate in year‑end closeout activities, development of PMA budgets, and preparation of quarterly reportsUse USAF/AFLCMC accounting and contracting systems to perform financial tasksMaintain accurate accounting of overtime requests and actuals and brief USG leadership on statusResearch and reconcile financial data using multiple USG databases and supporting documentationOther duties as assignedQualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:Must be a US citizenMust have an active Secret ClearanceExtensive experience with DoD and USAF financial management, accounting systems, and acquisition processesStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skillsAbility to synthesize complex data and present findings clearlyExperience supporting a government program office or equivalent environmentAll positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
