Warehouse and Inventory Operations Specialist

FEFA, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Operations Specialist to support shipping, receiving, inventory management, procurement, and invoicing activities. This role is fully onsite in San Diego, CA at the Naval Health Research Center and requires a high degree of independence, accountability, and ownership of daily operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse or stockroom experience and demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Invoicing experience is especially important for this role, as the position plays a key part in ensuring accurate documentation, purchasing support, and financial tracking.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain full ownership of shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory control processesAccurately manage inventory records, procurement documentation, and invoicingCoordinate with vendors, suppliers, supervisors, and internal staff to support operational needsTrack materials, supplies, and equipment to ensure availability and complianceSupport purchasing activities, including order tracking and vendor communicationIdentify logistical or inventory-related issues and independently implement effective solutionsEnsure compliance with organizational policies, security requirements, and documentation standardsOperate computer systems for data entry, word processing, and record keepingPerform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing or sitting for extended periodsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of experience working independently in a warehouse or stockroom environmentDemonstrated ownership of shipping, receiving, and inventory processesStrong invoicing experience and attention to financial and procurement accuracyExcellent organizational and inventory management skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with vendors and staffAbility to learn and retain information related to organizational programs and logistical requirementsProficiency in computer skills, including word processing and data entryPhysical ability to lift heavy objects and remain stationary (standing or sitting) for long periodsDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervisionProven accountability for outcomes, compliance, and deliverablesStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and complete tasks without continuous directionAvailability to work onsite Monday through Friday, with flexibility to adjust hours as neededU.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a T3/Secret ClearancePreferred QualificationsExperience working in research or laboratory environments, especially infectious disease settingsFamiliarity with biosafety protocols and regulatory requirementsExperience supporting disease surveillance operationsExperience with federal and military purchasing and procurement processesFamiliarity with government credit cards or purchasing systemsProven experience managing vendor relationshipsWhy Join FEFA, LLC?At FEFA, LLC, you’ll play a critical role in supporting high-impact operations in a mission-driven environment.
