This individual will play a key role in delivering high-impact actuarial analyses aligned with Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) principles.\n\nIn this role, you will serve as a lead analyst supporting our actuarial state pricing team, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business challenges, analyzing underlying drivers, and deliver actionable recommendations that improve overall business performance and profitability.\n\nThis is a high-visibility, high-impact opportunity where your work directly influences pricing strategy and business outcomes. You’ll collaborate with a talented, collaborative team, contribute to meaningful innovation, and continue advancing your actuarial career in a growth-oriented environment that supports professional development and CAS credential progression.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nBuild deep expertise in personal lines auto, homeowners, and/or commercial lines insurance products\nLead and support actuarial analyses for rate changes and strategic initiatives, including:\nEvaluating pricing for new and existing rating elements and coverages\nQuantifying top-line and bottom-line impacts of both rate and non-rate actions\nAssessing and forecasting the effects of product, market, and economic changes on profitability and rate adequacy\nApply data-driven decision-making while leveraging sound actuarial judgment\nUtilize strong technical skills (particularly SQL) to efficiently retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data across multiple sources\nWork independently with a high degree of accountability, including performing reasonability checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity\nClearly communicate analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to peers, business partners, and senior leadership\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders\nIdentify opportunities and recommend/implement process and methodological improvements\nProvide mentorship, training, and guidance to less experienced team members\nActively pursue actuarial credentialing through the CAS pathway, progressing toward ACAS designation\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n\n3–5 years of actuarial experience or equivalent related expertise\nProgress toward actuarial credentialing with 3–5 CAS exams completed\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent professional-level knowledge in a specialized field combined with related experience\nProven experience conducting intermediate-level quantitative analyses\nStrong foundation in actuarial, analytical, and coding techniques\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate with business partners and senior leadership\nExperience contributing to or implementing methodology and process improvements\nAbility to independently complete intermediate analyses, with exposure to more complex projects under managerial guidance\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and recommend prioritization of tasks\n\nWhy Mapfre?\n\nAs a global insurance leader with a strong local presence, we offer more than a job — we provide a purpose-driven career where your growth, well-being, and impact truly matter\n\nPurpose & Culture: Join a company built on trust, collaboration, and inclusion.
