Ability to increase as you learn more of the position.\nSummary (Position Description): CNC Operators must have the necessary skills to set up, operate, and maintain multi-axis machining centers, along with finished part inspection.\nReports To: Shift Supervisor\nStatus: Full time, Hourly, Non-Exempt\nDuties & Tasks\nFollow production plan from shift supervisor or department manager\nOperate forklift, as required\nPerform material movement of raw material to machine\nLoad/unload material into designated machines\nClean machined parts after machining cycle is completed\nPress bushing into machined parts using bushing press\nPerform Lean Proces, 5S cleaning and TPM tasks and sign off daily\nEnter machining output into OEE database\nFollow safety requirements\nInitiate defect card and maintenance work orders when required.\nDump chip containers when required\nUse scroll process sheets to determine tool run order and basic tool compensations\nComprehend a scroll inspection report at a basic level: Understand the datum structure and how reference dimensions effect profiles\nSet basic tools such as endmills and face mills\nUse a profilometer to check surface finish of machined surfaces\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nWork systematically through product issues with support from shift supervisor and engineering team\nOther duties as assigned by management\nWho We Are:\nYou apply world-class manufacturing solutions to create best-in-class products to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The employee constantly is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
