Server/Bartender
Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional service in a lively environment, whether in a fine dining setting, nightclub, or banquet hall. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Prior experience with POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and food handling procedures. This position involves serving food and beverages, managing customer orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Duties
Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Toast POS and Micros POS
Provide attentive and friendly customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision
Ensure proper food safety and food handling standards are maintained at all times
Assist in bar service by preparing drinks efficiently in a fast-paced environment, including brewing specialty beverages if applicable
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations
Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables or guests simultaneously
Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure positive experiences
Support catering or banquet events as needed, including setup and breakdown
Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or retail math is highly desirable
Fine dining experience or banquet service background is a plus
Experience working in nightclubs or hospitality venues enhances suitability for this role
Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
Proven ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining excellent customer service skills
Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and knowledge of food industry best practices are advantageous

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
