Customer Service Specialist - Part-Time Seasonal

LazyOne is a fun, growing pajama company. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated team member to work in our customer service department this holiday season. The right candidate will have impeccable customer service and excellent data entry skills as they will be responsible for entering retail orders into our computer system. Attention to detail is an absolute must. Must be able to talk on the phone and email customers in a professional manner. Must be able to work as a team with the other members of the customer service team. Seasonal part-time hours with the possibility of additional hours as business needs dictate. Job Responsibilities: - Greet customers, via phone, and email, in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using company procedures. - Maintain broad knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and procedures. - Mathematical reasoning, or basic mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentage, and division required. - Place and/or receive customer inquiries that may require deviation from a script or sales flow process. - Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing the opportunity to build rapport with the customer. - Confirm customer understanding of the solution and provide additional customer education as needed. - Prepare complete and accurate work and update customer file. - Communicate effectively with individuals/teams in the program to ensure high quality and timely expedition of customer requests. Position is a 4-to-5-hour shift between 8a – 6p. Some additional hours and Saturdays seasonally as orders increase. We would prefer an individual who has experience in customer service but would be willing to train the right person.
