Take a look at the opportunities we have with M&M Extra Care!\nM & M Extra Care is a Before/After School and Summer Camp program located within select area elementary schools.\nWe are currently looking for qualified and motivated Enrichment Specialists to join us for the 2026-2027 school year at our Grand River location in Livonia , Westfield Academy location in Redford and South Canton Scholars location in Canton. Our Aftercare Specialists work around 20 hours per week (Monday-Friday from 2:30 to 6:30 pm), with additional Before School hours possibly available from 6:30 to 8:30 am, plus paid planning and training time. Specialists are asked to commit to the full school year and you must be available all five days per week for the afternoon shift.\nWe desire responsible, self-motivated, creative, caring, patient and hardworking individuals to join our team. Many team members have stayed with us several years and growth opportunities are provided. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a high school Diploma or GED. Experience working with groups of school age youth, such as in a childcare setting, facilitating a classroom, church youth groups, summer camps or coaching sports teams, is REQUIRED.\nOur programs run September through mid-June, along with summer program opportunities in June through August. All school year shifts are as listed above, between 2:30-6:30 pm M-F, with the possibility of morning hours. Shifts can vary during summer camp. There will be a required online orientation that needs to be completed before beginning your onsite work with students. Following orientation, your onsite employement will begin as follows:\nSouth Canton- Monday, August 24th\nGrand River - Monday, August 31st\nWestfield- Tuesday, September 8th\nAs an Enrichment Specialist you will:\nMake a difference in the lives of the children daily\nWork directly with students, leading activities in the classroom\nWork with the Site Director and other staff to foster a safe and effective environment for school-age children\nBe assigned your own classroom of students within a select age group ranging from Young-Fives through 8th grades (depending on personal training and/or interest and program need)\nDevelop weekly lesson plans of activities including Social Emotional Learning, STEAM, group games, arts and crafts and other developmentally appropriate activities for that group of children\nBe a part of a High Quality program that participates in Great Start to Quality.\nProfessional Development will be provided and will include:\nAnnual Fall Training/ New Hire Training\nRecurring paid on-line training throughout the year\nAnnual CPR/First Aid training\nBenefits Include\n· Competitive pay (Starting at $16-$19/hr)\n. Paid training\n· Paid time-off\n.
