Shifts, days, locations, and assignments will change regularly, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals who are adaptable, dependable, and ready to take on new challenges. Please note that you will be assigned to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs.\n\nAs a Security Officer - FLEX in Eagan, MN, you’ll expand your skillset, gain exposure to a variety of sites, and position yourself for advancement within the company. This is more than just a job—it’s a pathway to a long-term career.\n\nPay Rate: $22.96 / Hour\n\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nPerform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle\nWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards\nSound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons\nWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles\nPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits\nObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements\nInvestigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post\nAid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner\nMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nBe available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.\nHave reliable transportation.\nA valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.\nBe available for last-minute shift scheduling.\nBe willing to travel required distances.\nBe at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.\nPossess a high school diploma or equivalent.\nAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.\nAllied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.\nAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.\nLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.\nA valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.\n\nOther Related Attributes That Would Enhance Hiring Consideration:\n\nAbility to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)\nPrior security, military, or law enforcement experience\n\nClosing\n\nAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
