Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (ELC West) for the 2026-2027 School YearThe ELC is located in Vernon Hills (Lake County), Illinois; is a special education cooperative providing services to students identified with special needs, ages 3 through 22 years of age. The ELC represents Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District 96, Lincolnshire-Prairie View School District 103, Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125 and Fox Lake District 114. The ELC serves eight elementary schools, four junior high/middle schools and one high school.DescriptionAs we continue to provide world-class, specialized educational services and supports locally for our exceptional learners in partnership with families and districts, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst will support our students with a variety of needs in a more structured learning environment.Location: ELC WestQualificationsBoard Certified Behavior Analyst LicensureValid Professional Educator license with either a LBS1, preferred LBS11, or a school psychologist approvalAbility to travel within the member districts and move about ELC and district buildings as necessaryExperience with students on the autism spectrum disorder and emotional disabilitiesEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor Functional Behavior AssessmentProvide evaluations, modeling and training to staff and parents on the impact of behavior on educational performance and effectiveness of behavior intervention plans.Function as a diagnostic team member and provide ongoing behavioral assistance to students, staff and parents.Job Responsibilities: (see attached job description for full list)Implement and coordinate positive behavior support plans and intervention techniquesCollaborate with the district's problem solving teams including parents when a student exhibits severe behaviors in the school environmentAssist in the writing of comprehensive functional assessments, behavior intervention plans, or programmatic recommendations for individual studentsDemonstrate/model behavior management ideas and/or techniquesConsult with parents concerning the status of behavior in the home and recommendations that can be carried out in the home Salary & Benefit InformationPay ranges from $55,350 - $115,000 depending on education level and experienceThis is a 10-month, Monday through Friday positionExceptional Learners Collaborative Provides a Comprehensive Benefits Plan IncludingHealth, Dental and Vision insurance, including Board-paid single/employee medical insurance, and shared cost for family coverageLife InsuranceContribution to the Teacher's Retirement System (pension)Sick, Personal, and Bereavement leave timeProfessional Development opportunitiesTuition ReimbursementApplication ProcessOnline applications are required (www.elced.org).
