This role ensures that all equipment operates at optimal performance levels and adheres to safety and regulatory standards. Key duties include troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues, implementing preventative maintenance programs, and coordinating new equipment installations. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement. A strong problem-solving ability, technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills are essential.\nResponsibilities:\nManage repair and preventative maintenance initiatives for facilities and process equipment.\nCreate designs, configurations, and schematics for new equipment, and customize solutions for operational needs.\nManage the setup and integration of new machinery.\nDevelop preventive maintenance plans, perform calibration, troubleshoot issues, and manage repairs to minimize downtime.\nAnalyze equipment data / SPC data to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for better performance.\nWork with production, maintenance, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines\nCreate, revise, organize site equipment documentation.\nEnsure compliance to applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulations. Principal participant in site ISO 14001 Environmental Management system.\nAct as the company representative and liaison with external suppliers and vendors on equipment and/or facility related issues.\nQualification and Experience:\nBachelors Degree in a Technical Field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n8+ years of equipment / facilities experience in the wafer processing environment.\nSpecific skills include:\nExperience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preferably with semiconductor equipment such as in-line steppers and aligners, coat/develop tracks, wafer bonders, plasma etchers, overlay tools and dicing saws along with facility wide HVAC, Chilled Water, Power and UPS systems.\nStrong demonstrated troubleshooting skills\nExcellent analytical skills, ability to think clearly, and quickly grasp significant issues.\nDecision making ability and effectiveness.\nBroad technical curiosity, fast learner, creative problem solver, and ability to effectively implement ideas.\nDemonstrated initiative and ability to act independently.\nAdditional Job Description:\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $88,300 - $141,300.\n\nThis position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.\nBroadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
