This role may support a hybrid schedule of 2 days a week, at the discretion of management and based on business needs.\r\nResponsibilities\r\nBe responsible for COTS configuration and extensions to capabilities.\r\nDevelop new and sustain existing applications developed in Angular, JavaScript and REACT.\r\nDevelopment includes integration between systems and building data maps.\r\nQualifications\r\nBachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution and 15 years related experience\r\nMust understand relational database constructs, preferably Oracle.\r\nMust be proficient in REACT, NEXTJs, or Angular.\r\nMust have exposure to containerization platforms, preferably OpenShift.\r\nMust have good oral and written communication skills.\r\nMust be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.\r\nDesired Qualifications\r\nExperience with JAVA, JavaScript, TypeScript and an IDE such as Eclipse, or VSCode is preferred.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nMay be required to climb stairs to access equipment for troubleshooting.\r\nWill be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection, and other associated personal protective equipment.\r\nPosition may involve extended periods of sitting or standing.\r\nPhysical requirements are sitting, walking, standing, extensive use of stairs, and access to remote structures.\r\nPosition is located on a hazardous testing facility; must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency.\r\nWork Environment\r\nMay be required to work inside and outside throughout the test complex.\r\nPosition may require individual to travel daily to different areas on site.\r\nWalking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand, may be required to access various locations on the facility.\r\nClimbing ladders and platforms may be necessary.\r\nAll work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and company safety standards.\r\nEquipment and Machines\r\nComputers and printers used for producing reports and schedules.\r\nVariety of equipment used in testing.\r\nAttendance\r\nFull-time work hours.\r\nPosition may require occasional overtime, including weekend work, depending on task.\r\nMust be dependable and punctual.\r\nShift work may be required.\r\nOther Essential Functions\r\nMust be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication.\r\nMust be able to travel to support position requirements.
