This developer will design and develop IRS/MeF Mod microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, JAX-RS services, JPA/Hibernate, and Red Hat OpenShift. In addition, this candidate will perform unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and maintain Java components as needed.\n\nThe IRS/MeF is a platform for electronically filing returns with the IRS. It provides SOA-based web services that filers use to submit returns and provides web applications for IRS users to work with the returns. MeF validates filed returns, determines their disposition, and interfaces with other IRS systems to process them downstream.
