This role oversees all IT systems and platforms—including NeonCRM (CRM), SmartSimple (Grants Management System), BrightSpace (Learning Management System), Google Workspace, and other cloud-based tools—to ensure secure, efficient, and integrated operations across the organization’s fully remote team.\nReporting to the Senior Director of Operations & Culture, the IT & Data Systems Manager manages vendor relationships, leads cybersecurity and data governance initiatives, supports staff training, and collaborates across departments to ensure that technology is advancing our programmatic, operational, and strategic goals.\nThis position is ideal for a detail-oriented, solution-driven professional who can balance\nhands-on technical work with long-term systems planning.\nCore Responsibilities\nIT Infrastructure & Security\nManage and maintain our technology platforms, ensuring system reliability,\nintegration, and performance.\nImplement cybersecurity best practices, including multi-factor authentication, access controls, and regular security audits.\nOversee cloud infrastructure for a remote workforce, ensuring secure storage, backup, and recovery processes.\nMaintain IT governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)\nSystems Administration & Optimization\nServe as administrator for CRM, GMS, and LMS systems—handling configurations, permissions, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.\nLead integration projects to streamline reporting, data flow, and cross-platform\nfunctionality.\nConduct system audits to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.\nVendor & Contractor Management\nManage the relationship with the Managed IT Services Provider for helpdesk support, security, and cloud services.\nOversee contracts with CRM/GMS consultants, LMS administrators, and other\ntechnology vendors.\nNegotiate service agreements to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.\nStaff Training & Support\nProvide timely technical support to staff across departments.\nDevelop and lead IT training to improve system adoption and efficiency.\nCreate and maintain user guides, SOPs, and onboarding/offboarding processes.\nData Governance & Reporting\nPartner with the Data Analyst to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems.\nImplement and maintain data governance policies.\nSupport leadership in developing dashboards and reports for decision-making.\nIdeal Candidate Profile: IT & Data Systems Manager\nThe ideal candidate is a tech-savvy, mission-aligned professional who combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic systems thinking.
