In this position, the Software Engineer must be proficient with Splunk.ClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.ExperienceMaster's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus twelve (12) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.Required SkillsExperience using the Linux CLI and the Linux suite of toolsExperience developing Shell/Perl scripts to automate manual processesRecent software development experience using PythonExperience with Splunk SPL, dashboard creation, and report developmentExperience with Splunk data onboarding, field extractions, data models, and performance tuningExperience with Splunk alerting, incident management workflows, and event correlationFamiliar interfacing with Log Management tools including Syslog-ng and rsyslogFamiliar Message Brokers such as KafkaExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including AnsibleExperience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI Experience with Git Source Control SystemDesired SkillsExperience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)BenefitsErias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits.
